Celebrating International Women’s Day

Article By Sahara .

Mar 6, 2020

International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month offer a chance to acknowledge the monumental efforts and subsequent progress of women who forged the way for us. The rich history of the trials and triumphs of women through the ages should be celebrated – it’s been hard work to get here, after all.
That being said, we at Sahara recognize the persistent inequality women experience around the world. Join us in any Sahara boutique, or shop online where, this week, proceeds of all purchases will be donated to Refuge. Doing vital work to service those affected by domestic abuse and violence, Refuge offers safe spaces, runs national campaigns, and provide a free 24 hour National Abuse Helpline.

As if you needed any more convincing to join us in supporting a worthy cause, there will also be Prosecco served in all stores throughout the weekend.
Keep an eye out for our month-long series celebrating womanhood. Discover ideas to make more time for yourself and enjoy the women closest to you, starting with the top events this weekend to celebrate!
